Sunday School

Sunday School at Holy Faith Lutheran Church is held each Sunday at 9:45 A.M. from Mid-September through Mid-June. The session begins with all classes gathering in the sanctuary for an official opening, song, group message and offering. Students then proceed to their individual classes where they participate in crafts, Bible lessons, memory work and fellowship.

Each year the Sunday School is involved in two mission projects. The Christmas Mission Project usually involves collecting items, packaging them and delivering them to needy recipients. In the past this has been in the form of warm clothing, school supplies, toiletries, etc. The Spring Mission Project for the past few years has been a mission to the Native Americans. Projects include letter writing and financial support.

Of course, every year the Sunday School prepares and presents a Christmas Program. This is usually rehearsed for two Saturdays and Two Sundays and presented at the regular worship service one or two weeks before Christmas. A great deal of work goes into this starting very early with the selection of the particular program to be used. Adult volunteers are most appreciated at this time of year.

Classes are offered for all students from Pre-Kindergarten through High School. If you would like more information regarding our Sunday School Program, please contact Pastor Lutz at 697-6060.
