This is a program designed for the purpose of educating all youth of Holy Faith Lutheran Church. It's a three-year program and is offered to youth in Grades 6, 7 and 8 in three different classes which are taught by two lay members and the pastor. All classes meet at the church on Tuesday evening from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m., September through May.

SIXTH GRADE - The focus in this class is on studying the meaning of our sacraments and worship service. As the culmination of this class, students receive their first Holy Communion which usually occurs on Palm Sunday.

SEVENTH GRADE - This class presents an overview of the Bible. Emphasis is placed on relating the Old Testament with the New Testament. There is also discussion as to how Biblical principles are incorporated into daily life.

EIGHTH GRADE - This class is taught by the pastor. Its main focus is on preparing students for confirmation of their faith. This is accomplished by studying Biblical truths predominantly as they are presented by Martin Luther in his Small Catechism. Students then confirm their faith during the worship service on Pentecost Sunday.
